I have been a bad boy apparently

so much so that Mediafire will disconnect me if too many more notices come from people saying that content is theirs and theirs alone.  So far this week I have had two notices about Pains of Being Pure At Heart and Rodrigo y Gabriela. They don't tell you how many strikes you get but I won't take the chance.

As the primary intent of the blog is to provide access to recordings of Brisbane artists I have decided to remove recordings of any artist whose soul I imagine to be owned by faceless men in boardrooms.  I have a limited imagination so I probably have missed a few.  I was actually surprised at how few there were given the almost 1200 recordings I do have though there will be more in the Megaupload recordings.

The removals are almost entirely non-Australian artists, not that Australian artists are immune.

Meanwhile I have not stopped going out and recording but I have spent less time in front of the computer and more in front of the wife.  That's about to change; I am about to catch up with the posting.  As a bonus I have a new phone, a Nokia 808 Pureview which takes amazing photos but more importantly amazing video with great sound like this one I prepared earlier of Pete forgetting the words to Your Pretty Face.  These will become a regular feature I hope.
